 My mom worked there and I visited her. We saw an Official I Wish Bison Lives Matter Shirt herd and the people were having their CHILDREN get closer to take pictures with them. Like 8-year-old kids.  Saw it yesterday, And the Official Acuna ’20 Albies Play For The A Shirt exact thing that came in mind when I read the article lol. The whole movie is eerily relevant right now.  It’s the perfect pandemic movie for me. Like I can’t see myself wanting another one to release because this one covered such a great scope. So many criticisms on Rotten Tomatoes at the time were “Outbreak was more exciting”. There are a number of solid criticisms against this movie but “wasn’t a metadrama” is a bit weak. New reality.  The only thing I disliked about it was how suddenly they developed the vaccine. The movie basically went from “end of civilization” to “problem solved” in 10 minutes. All of their stories were gut-wrenching, but Poca’s & Gummy’s story hit especially hard. I really hope we get a good opportunity to shank Mephisto. The trope is ‘Earn Your Happy Ending’, and I have to say… they’ve earned at least one. Or someone’s not counting right. If anything, that should be a popular opinion. Sad backstories and the like can be used to explain a character’s behavior, but it should never be an excuse. Well, I said ‘anyone’, but I kind of have to agree that maybe Mephisto doesn’t deserve a Nice If You Don’t Eat Your Meat You Can’t Have Any Pudding Shirt happy ending. Though I somehow feel a mere shanking is too good for him. Thou shalt get out, what put in.
