Totally agree. I loved the keys, the backlighting, and the Premium I Could Into A Butterfly Eevee Evolution Shirt function row. But the case itself just feels awful. So cheap, thick, and heavy. It made the iPad feel bulkier than the 12 inch MacBook it was replacing. Switched to the Smart Keyboard, and while I miss the function keys, overall I’m far, far happier. It’s probably to protect the iPad. The regular create keyboard case scratched my iPads screen so that’s probably why they implemented the lip. Idk how protective it would be for a fall. It’s not really a bad design I just don’t like extra bulk. It manages to be thinner and actually feels like a Premium I Could Into A Butterfly Eevee Evolution Shirt real keyboard. I completely agree, after using the smart connector, I don’t want to go back to Bluetooth. I love the surface keyboard as well. Microsoft should make a surface keyboard for the iPad! Good reviews. I initially bought the Logitech and quickly found using it with the keyboard detached to be uncomfortable and too bulky. You nailed it on the raised edges, I couldn’t handle it.
