Jemisin, Kai Ashante Wilson, Caitlin Kiernan, Seanan Mcguire, Kate Elliott, Aliette de Bodard who keep producing excellent works full of well-written female and LGBT characters. For recent series, I absolutely love Craft Sequence by Max Gladstone. Strong female characters with agency, POC, a fantasy transgender priest, a Hot LGBT Sloth Riding A Llama Gay Lesbian Pride Shirt gay Deathless King, lesbian power couples, you name it. The world is absolutely engaging and rich, not to mention poetic prose.
