Yeah, it was a sad day. I love SAB and seeing the Pretty Labyrinth Characters Friends Shirt outright hate it got was sad. And Josh says it best, that World 2’s design actually suffered from not cutting enough. Those levels are just way too big, and some parts of them aren’t very fun even in normal mode. Some people commented that W2 felt like it was in Tribulation Mode by default which, while a bit extreme, captured the feeling well I guess. W1 kinda hit lightning in a bottle when it comes to the difficulty for both normal and Trib mode. And now, W2 is kinda stuck in limbo because it’d take a complete overhaul to make it “good by default” and not “good if you take the shortcuts and ignore a lot of the level” So much this. I could understand the criticism, but the Pretty Labyrinth Characters Friends Shirt way people hated what we got and on Josh was not right.
